Actors

John Malkovich

Malkovich has appeared in more than 70 films since the early 80s including Dangerous Liaisons, Con Air and Being John Malkovich – and it seems he’s been bald since the very beginning! Nothing has stopped him becoming an iconic Hollywood star.

Corey Stoll

Stoll is probably most known for his role in House of Cards, but has appeared in other shows such as Law & Order and the MCU film Ant-Man in which he played Yellowjacket.

Ben Kingsley

A true legend of the film industry, Kingsley has been acting since the 1960s and has appeared in some major, iconic films such as Gandhi and Schindler’s list. More recently he voiced the panther Bagheera in the Disney adaptation of The Jungle Book.

Tyrese Gibson

Rapper, actor and model all in one, this Hollywood heartthrob is best known for his roles in the Fast and Furious franchise and the Transformers films. He has also starred in other Hollywood films such as Four Brothers.

John Travolta

A man whose career has spanned decades and been responsible for some of the most iconic films in history, including Grease and Pulp Fiction. Travolta was always blessed with that thick head of black hair until later in life where he took the plunge to shave his head, now he’s rocking it.

Terry Crews

Fewer people in Hollywood have more eye-popping muscles than Terry Crews. After a brief career in football, Crews began acting in the early 2000s and was most recently known for his role as Sgt. Terry Jeffords in the hit US comedy Brooklyn Nine-Nine.

Woody Harrelson

Another legend of the screen, Harrelson started his career in the 1980s in the hit US show Cheers, as bartender Woody. He moved into Hollywood in a variety of roles such as Mickey Knox in Natural Born Killers and The People vs Larry Flynt. Originally an actor with hair, Harrelson began sporting the balder look later in life, but pulls it off!

Samuel L Jackson

One of the coolest cucumbers in modern film history, Samuel L is another one who took the plunge from hair to the bald look. But that doesn’t stop him looking incredibly stylish every single time you see him. Known for his roles in movie greats such as Pulp Fiction (alongside Travolta) he is most recently known for his role as Nick Fury in the Marvel films.

Michael Chiklis

Best known for his roles as The Thing in Fantastic Four, Chiklis also starred in TV shows such as American Horror Story and Gotham. His bald, stocky look definitely earns him the persona of a tough guy who looks like someone you don’t want to mess with.

Mark Strong

British actor Mark Strong is known for his roles in big films such as Stardust, Sherlock Holmes and the Kingsman films. A handsome man who absolutely suits the bald headed look.

Taye Diggs

Handsome and smiley man Taye Diggs is well known for his Broadway acting talents but has also starred in various TV shows and films including Private Practice and How Stella got her Groove Back.

Singers

Chris Daughtry

Lead singer of the band he named after himself, Daughtry is certainly a looker and has never had a problem with getting the attention from the ladies.

LL Cool J

Among the names you might find on the list of greatest and most influential rappers of all time, LL Cool J is indeed a cool guy. He made the transition from rapping to TV and films by starring in NCIS: Los Angeles, S.W.A.T and Any Given Sunday. He’s also incredibly muscular and always takes care of his appearance, which he almost always adds to with a hat!

Moby

Maker of smooth tunes, lover of animals and all round chilled out guy, Moby (real name Richard Hall) has been around since the late 80s but became famous worldwide in the early 2000s with his album Play.

Adam Levine

Handsome guy Adam Levine is the lead singer of Maroon 5 and has also had a very successful solo career as well as being a judge on the US version of The Voice. Levine went from being a smart, good-looking singer to a heavily tattooed, sometimes shaved headed hunk over the space of a few years. Which do you prefer?

Pitbull

Latino-American rapper, singer and producer Pitbull has been going with the shaved head look from a pretty early age but it suits him well.

Sportsmen

Tyson Fury

Towering British boxer Tyson Fury is by name and nature. Looking far more furious since shaving his head, the Gypsy King has uncannily quick reflexes for a man who stands a staggering 6 feet 9 inches (206cm)!

Floyd Mayweather Jr.

Possibly the most skilled boxer in the history of the sport, Floyd “Money” Mayweather’s record stands at 50 wins to 0 losses (including his exhibition fights against Conor McGregor and Logan Paul) and is estimated to be worth $450 million.

Conor McGregor

Speak of the devil… MMA and UFC legend from Ireland, McGregor doesn’t always sport the shaved head look, but when he does it certainly makes him look fierce.

David Beckham

A man who needs no introduction, former England football captain and now general celebrity David Beckham. I remember back in the 90s when everyone changed their hair in accordance with what Becks did, be that curtains or mohawks. He has sometimes rocked the shaved head look on and off.

Zinedine Zidane

Another great in the sport of football, former French star Zidane is considered one of the greatest players of all time. And who can forget the head-butting incident?!

Andre Agassi

Former whacky-haired racket wielder of the tennis court and a legend of the sport, Agassi switched to the bald look later on in life.

Comedians

Dave Chappelle

Probably one of (if not “the”) greatest comedians of all time, Chappelle has always rocked the shaved head look. He even made a joke about it once, stating that his real hair is beautiful and if he grew it out he would look like Katt Williams.

Joe Rogan

Comedian, MMA/UFC commentator and podcast genius, Rogan is another man who shaved his head later in life. Personally, I think it looks much better and suits his tough guy/martial arts expert appearance.

Keegan-Michael Key

Half of the hit comedy duo Key & Peele, Keegan-Michael key is another man who I don’t think I’ve ever seen with hair, but it suits him perfectly!

Bill Burr

I recently used Bill Burr as an example of someone who went from having hair to being a bald guy and how it took me a few views to get used to. But now I look back at older clips and think he looks weird with hair!

Howie Mandel

More than just a comedian, Mandel’s career has spanned a few decades including acting roles, producing, directing and hosting of TV shows. Once adorned with a mop of curly hair, he has been owning the bald look for many years now.

Others

Heston Blumenthal

Michelin starred British chef and pioneer of multi-sensory cooking; Blumenthal is considered one of the top chefs in the world.

Prince William

Heir to the throne of the British Monarchy and former heartthrob amongst young girls, The Duke of Cambridge’s hair loss was very public given his status. Serving in the military as a Air Ambulance pilot and being an all-round good husband and dad, leaves not a lot to dislike about Wills.
